PyObjC talk at EuroPython '09

The talk assumes that you have:

  • Mac OS X Leopard 10.5, which includes PyObjC 2.0 in the System Python installation
  • Installed the Developer Tools (XCode and Interface Builder)

Things that will be covered:

  • Demonstration on the Python support of XCode and Interface Builder (building a simple app)
  • What is Cocoa
  • How to write Python classes that can be used from PyObjC
  • Where to get more information
